The town is extending Sewer along the Waterville Road from the Drive – in to the Breezy acres Motel. This sewer project will help the area attract new businesses into Skowhegan as well as helping the present residents with Sewer problems.

In the future water infrastructure will be considered as funding is available.

The Downtown TIF has been created to help finish some of the downtown revitalization projects. As new development happens in the downtown area, the increase tax dollars are captured into a dedicated Tif Fund. These funds will be used on projects like the following:

• Engineering
• Development of Public Bathrooms
• Riverfront Renani
• Improvement of Parking areas
