Overview, etc.The Skowhegan Economic Development Corp is a 501c3 Corporation in Skowhegan Maine.
PurposeThe purpose of the Corporation shall be to promote Skowhegan for the reason of economic development and industrial development for the benefit of the citizens of Skowhegan, to manage the Industrial Park, to create a favorable atmosphere for existing economic enterprises and industries, and to carry out these goals within the scope of its legal corporate powers.
The board is working to improve the Economic conditions in the Town of Skowhegan. They manage the Northgate Industrial Park and the new Southgate Industrial Park and managing the Renaissance building in the Downtown. Business Loan programs are review by the board on an ongoing basis.
