Pedestrian Connector Project - Municipal Park

Skowhegan Pedestrian Connector Municipal Parking Lot 2014
Skowhegan’s municipal parking lot, centrally located in our downtown, was originally the location of the Maine Central Railroad train station and tracks the traditional hub for passengers and freight. With the decline of rail service and advent of automotive transportation, the parking lot was created without design considerations for vehicular movement and effective pedestrian interaction.
Keep track of the project, watch the news updates.

In 2011, Main Street Skowhegan and the Town put together a Grant together to rebuild the Municipal Parking Lot. This is the rendering that was done at that time. Rendering 2011.

Then in 2012 Dirigo Engineering created the final Rendering 2012.
