Hospice Volunteers of Somerset County, a volunteer non-profit based in Skowhegan, caring for those with a life-limiting illness, providing support and solace to the grieving, and educating the community. The majority of those we help are not in a financial position to turn elsewhere for assistance.

Lights to Remember provides you with an opportunity to do just that. Help Light the Beautiful Trees of Remembrance (located beside the Fire Station on Island Avenue) by purchasing a symbolic angel “in honor of” or “in memory of” a loved one. These lights will be lit on Thursday, November 29th and will remain shining throughout the holiday season in tribute to your loved one.
