  1. Robotics and Coding with Dash & Dot

    September 19, 2019, 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. @ Skowhegan Free Public Library

This fall we will be having our first ever robotics/coding club with our fabulous robots, Dash, Dot, Digit, and Data! It will be a 6 week long program for kids in grades 2-4, running every Thursday from 3:30pm to 5:00pm, August 29th through October 3rd. We will be learning basic coding skills and teaching our programmable robots how to do things like maneuver obstacle courses, draw, complete tasks with homemade tools attached to the robots, and a multitude of other exciting activities. This is a thrilling new project that we are very eager to get up and running, however we do have very limited spaces available for this program, so please call to sign your child up. We do expect those joining this program to attend for all 6 weeks, as each week we will be building on the skills we've already learned. If you would like any more information, please call the library at (207) 474-9072.

  4. Touch & Go

    September 19, 2019, 8:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. @ Lakewood Theater

When Brian takes up jogging, his wife Hilary is not surprised. She has often told him he should exercise more after all the business lunches he consumes. But when Brian is ostensibly running round the park, he is, in fact, spending a couple of hours with his girlfriend, Wendy, in his good friend George’s home. The arrangement works well for some time, for while Brian is visiting Wendy, helpful George knows that there is no danger of his own dalliance being discovered; for the object of his affection is Brian’s wife, Hilary! It is all plain sailing until George’s wife Jessica returns too soon from a business trip to America and puts the cat among the pigeons!
